Debunking 3 More Real Estate Myths


Today I’ll debunk the final three common real estate myths in my two-part series.


Over the past few weeks, I’ve been debunking some common real estate myths in my video blog. Today I’ll go over the last three to finish the series.

Don’t believe these last three real estate myths:

  1. Spring time is the best time to sell. It’s true that there are more buyers during the spring. However, there are also more sellers in the spring, which means listing during the fall or winter actually gives you less competition. Waiting until spring might mean having to accept a lower offer or let your property sit on the market while buyers shop around.

  1. A cash offer is always best. If there is a tie between an all-cash offer and a financing offer, it’s true that the cash offer will win. However, sellers don’t always care if you have an all cash offer. Yes, it’s nice to not have a financing contingency, but they’re not going to sell their home for less money just because it’s an all-cash offer.

Sellers won’t sell for less just because 
you have a cash offer.
